The ASP Ultra Plus Hinged Handcuffs (Aluminum Bow) are the first forged aluminum keyless locking restraints. These police handcuffs have all the features of the original Ultra Cuffs, but with highly visible, small yellow tabs to indicate that the cuffs are double locked. There’s no need for a handcuff key. Just set the cuffs and press the double lock actuator at the edge.
On top of that, these ASP handcuffs are lightweight with round smooth edges, interchangeable lock sets, conical bows and double-sided keyways. The frame is forged from 7075 T6 ordinance grade aluminum and permanently joined by 4140 heat treated spiral locking pins. The result is a series of handcuffs that have been called the most significant advance in restraint technology of this century.
