At its core, these Bates boots are a running shoe but built with the performance of a tactical boot. Its durable flesh-out cattle hide leather is abrasion-resistant to avoid scuffs while its lightweight performance polyester offers support without slowing you down. These military boots also have a 4mm drop for better response to the ground while the directional outsole lugs provide lateral support.

What’s more, these combat boots are AR 670-1 compliant as an option to issue boots. Soldiers may wear commercial boots that’re of a design similar to the Army combat boot as authorized by the commander.
