LION American Classic NFPA Firefighting Helmet

Stay safe while staying stylish with the LION American Classic NFPA Firefighting Helmet. Boasting the look and feel of an authentic fire helmet, this piece of equipment is made from patented TherMax™ composite technology. It ensures thermal protection while providing superior performance on a lighter-weight helmet than traditional-style helmets. An adjustable Center of Gravity™ system shifts the helmet's position to your desired center of gravity and keeps it in place while in use. Further features include a helmet shell with black Nomex flannel ear covers, 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material solid lime-yellow trapezoids, a headband cushioned with foam and covered with black knit Nomex, and a brass eagle shield holder compliant with NFPA 1971 standards.

  • Shell: Patented TherMax™ composite technology fiberglass shell ensures thermal protection, lightweight, and structural integrity, while RTM molding provides color pigmentation throughout
  • Removable thermal insulator and thermoplastic liner add thermal protection
  • Suspension: Patented Center of Gravity™ adjustment system lets you set the center of gravity and keeps it positioned in place
  • Suspension System is removable for easy inspection, cleaning, or maintenance
  • Height adjusters: Provide three different headband height positions
  • Ratcheting headband: Adjusts from size 5.5 to 8.75. Cushioned headband is covered with black knit Nomex® for comfort and secure fit
  • Eye protection:  4” APEC Faceshield with Thumbwheel Adjustments
  • Edge binding: Aluminum core edge binding is durable but light
  • Chinstrap: Easy-to-adjust, quick-release chinstrap with postman's slide
  • Ear covers: Black DuPont™ Nomex® brand fiber/flannel ear covers for added neck/ear protection
  • Shield holder: Hand-carved brass eagle leather shield holder
  • 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material (2" x 2½" lime-yellow trapezoids) enhances heat resistance and maintains brightness and color after heat exposure
